A very cold 8am departure from Glenhope where we headed into Cobar proper and orchestrated the obligatory rig shot at the entrance. Sue also arranged some super cool ‘Lappin Oz’ shirts for us all which she surprised us with last night and we all wore today. Loving it!! We had a leisurely set off this morning as we only had a short(ish) drive to Cobar planned (and it was really cold outside). After a stop at Nyngan to stretch the legs we made it to the Glenhope Bush Camp by lunch time. We spent the afternoon out exploring the waterways and mines of Cobar before heading back to camp for a fire and colourful sunset. Well here we go again. Two years after our last incredible trip around Australia we are doing it all again.
