Relocate day again today and we are heading to the first location that we booked back in January. We are at the southern end of the Ningaloo Reef and have stopped at Warroora Station for two nights. Jase and Sue left early this morning to allow plenty of time to guide Mav in through the 23km of dirt road and corrugations while the rest of us left Carnarvon around 930. We stopped to stock up on firewood and also to drop pressure in the tyres once we hit the gravel. We turned on the caravan dust suppression system for the first time and there was no dust inside when we arrived – so far so good 🙂 .

We found the Allens, set up camp, and headed out to Shack Beach after lunch. The Allens and Karen rode bikes through sand (and I didn’t cause I fall off bikes) and the rest of us drove. We soaked up the sights, the colours, the rock pools, crabs, starfish and whales just off the reef. The drone went up and captured so many different textures.

Once we finished at the beach Bob and I headed further north and did some recon for tomorrow. We have found a great spot for snorkelling and a lookout with excellent whale watching. Some big sand dunes here that I popped the drone up to inspect as well.

Although the rain has come in this evening, we are hoping the weather will have mostly passed by tomorrow morning ready for a day of exploring.
