Well here we go again.  Two years after our last incredible trip around Australia we are doing it all again.  Different places this time, but with the same travelling companions… we are very excited to be sharing our adventures with Karen and Kieran who we met while still at uni in 1990, and with Jase and Sue who Bob has been friends with all his life and I joined the party when I met Bob in 1988.

This trip will be taking us across the bottom of Oz, up to the Ningaloo coast and inland to Karijini National Park.  We and the Scotts (Karen and Kieran) have upgraded our rigs since our trip in 2023 so looking forward to living in a bit more comfort this time around.

After a final catch up with the family last night at Tani and Daniel’s, we headed off this morning from Wallalong with only a few hiccoughs.  

We met the Scott’s at Denman and travelled through to Merriwa for the traditional pie stop at the bakery for lunch before an afternoon stop at Mendooran.  Here we bought home made cheese and the Scotts grabbed some Haggis from the local Scottish day in the paddock next door.

We have stopped for the night at Collie and have enjoyed a fire before another decent driving day tomorrow.  Looking forward to catching up with Jase and Sue at Cobar tomorrow.
