This morning I was slow to get going after my excitement going through photos last night. Jase and Sue headed out and Jason got the squid (might be his first one this trip?). Karen and Kieran went out exercising before we all met up at 10 for our experience organised by Sue.

For our experience, we headed to Myalup and completed 18 holes of mini golf at the Old Coast Road Brewery and Cafe. Each hole represented a unique place within Western Australia, so was a very appropriate activity for us all. Holes included Wave Rock, The Pinnacles, Karijini, Broome, Esperence, Busselton, Mt Augustus, Kalgoorlie Super Pit, Southern Karri Forest, Margaret River, Wheat Belt, Rottnest Island, Abrolhos Islands, Blackwood, Mandurah, Pilbara, Dirk Hartog Island, Albany and the Darling Ranges. By the end of this trip we will have been to at least 14 of the areas over the last 2 trips.

A fun morning! Bizarrely, I was not crowned the winner. Really quite surprised by that. Karen took the honours this time.

We then enjoyed a relaxed lunch at the brewery before calling in to Bunbury for a look around the town. Shenanigans at the local playground as well as local sculpture art was on display. Sue very kindly stepped up to fill in for the lifesavers that weren’t on duty 🙂 .

This is pretty clever I think

Then a walk through town where ice creams were purchased despite the cold winds before a trip to the local lookout(s).

We were back in Busselton before sunset and Bob and I headed out for a walk around the CBD precinct of town as we haven’t actually done any exploring around here. Tomorrow we will get an opportunity to look around some more as the car is booked in for its service. Hoping it will be back by around lunch time so we can head further away again.
