Today was all about relaxing! After the frenzy of the hikes in the last week Bob and I were ready for it. No timelines to be up for and a cooked brekky once we started the day. Karen and Kieran went out running and riding and enjoyed the crisp early morning temps.

The temps weren’t crisp for long though. The mercury was forecast to get to 33 degrees today and though I didn’t check, it was certainly warm. Bob and I set the outdoor living space up and enjoyed sitting outside for most of the day in the strongish breeze.

Our only real activity was a walk to the Millstream Homestead which was built over 100 years ago when this place was a sheep station, followed by a cattle station, followed by a tavern. Other than that, we sat, we had numerous lovely phone calls and we reflected on the ridiculous amount we have done in the last 7 weeks since we hit the road. I continued my latest craft project which is crocheted turtles which I plan to mount on Ningaloo driftwood for everyone that I collected while we were on the coast.

Unfortunately, this afternoon Jase and Sue made the sensible decision not to bring Mav out here over the corrugations. We will catch up with them at Cleaverville.

Tonight the rest of us all enjoyed an outside dinner for a change. Tomorrow we will head back out and recommence explore mode.
